AFT Skin Rejuvenation

AFT (Advanced Fluorescence Technology) Skin Rejuvenation is a series of AFT Light Treatments that improve the appearance of rosacea, flushing, sun damaged skin, texture of age spots, dull complexions, uneven pigmentation, large pores, and early signs of aging.

During the treatment process, an intense light is applied to the problem area in a series of gentle pulses. The light penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the affected area. The heat impairs blood vessels and lesions without damaging the skin and causes the body to begin its natural healing process. The number of treatments will depend on the results that the patient desires. A series of five treatments varying from 15 to 45 minutes usually gives patients optimal results. Treatments may be as frequent as every three weeks.

Side effects from AFT treatments are infrequent. Immediately following treatment, the skin may appear flushed, brown pigmented spots may appear darker, and capillaries may be more visible. In rare instances, temporary swelling and/or blistering can occur. To greatly minimize the risk of complications, patients should limit sun exposure for several weeks before and after treatment.

Rosacea

Rosacea is a skin problem that causes people to flush easily and develop redness, pimples, and thread veins on their cheeks, nose and forehead. Rosacea often starts in the second or third decade of life, and women are more often affected than men. The exact cause of rosacea is unknown but sun exposure, alcohol, medications, stress, and aging can be triggers. Laser Hair Removal
Medical laser technology gives you a gentler, safer and faster solution to the problem of unwanted hair. In as little as three to four treatments, our laser removes unwanted hair from legs, arms, back, shoulders - even from underarms, the upper lip and the bikini area. Laser therapy is a thoroughly tested, clinically-proven method of hair removal. Treatment is relatively quick, and removes unwanted body hair without damaging the surrounding skin. Spider veins, Reticular Veins, and Broken Capillaries
Advanced laser technology offers an effective treatment for facial, spider, and reticular veins. With a beam of light, the laser "selectively" coagulates the problem veins while sparing surrounding areas. The process takes 10 to 20 minutes, depending on your situation. After treatment, you can resume normal activity and the vessels slowly and naturally disappear. Results are seen within three to four weeks. Typically one to three treatments are recommended. Laser Tattoo Removal
A high-powered laser is used to remove unwanted tattoos. A tattoo's color, depth and the chemical composition of the ink all affect how it responds to laser light. Since the laser light selectively targets the undesired ink or pigment, other tissues remain largely unaffected, and therefore most patients report little discomfort. Depending on the size and location of the tattoo, treatment can take from 10 to 30 minutes. In general, most tattoos can be successfully treated, given a sufficient number of treatments.
