Fact: These two are different procedures altogether with their individual health benefits. While liposuction helps in reduction of the fatness of abdominal fat with slight skin tightening, a tummy tuck helps in the actual removal of excess tummy skin.

Myth no. 6:

Tummy tucks are not painful.

Fact: This depends on the person and the surgeon. Some people may not experience any pain or discomfort after the procedure, while others may experience some pain and soreness for as long as a year after the tummy tuck.
